05/12/2006 : Michel Chion in concert in Paris on December 10th

Michel Chion will perform the first movement of his new fresco, "LA VIE EN PROSE, UNE SYMPHONIE CONCRÈTE" ("Life in Prose, a Concrète Symphony") on Sunday, December 10th, 6pm, at Maison de Radio-France, 116 avenue du Président Kennedy, Paris. This new work was commissioned by INA/GRM and produced in their studios. "My main tools are the magnetic tape, and for the first time, the audio CD. I go back and forth from one medium to another. With this Symphony, I'm also trying to figure out what a music in prose would be." This INA/GRM concert will also feature two new works by Roland CAHEN and Bertrand DUBEDOUT. Free entrance.
